...UNTIL THE DAY HE DISCOVERS HE CAN CHANGE IT
A FATAL MISTAKE WILL HAUNT A MAN THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE
When Nathaniel Hawkins and his friend decide to rob a liquor store on Halloween night, 1970, he expected to get some free money. What he got instead was the death penalty.
In 1972, the Supreme Court ruled the death penalty was unconstitutional, and all condemned prisoners would see their sentences commuted to life. Seventeen years later, when Nathaniel has earned parole, he returns to Jacksonville and begins to build a life outside of prison. As he works his way up through his landscaping company, he becomes a valued member of the community with his wife and family. His hard work has helped him to leave his sins in the past.
Dr. Troy Duncan and his Time Opener team have just returned to 2016 from a mission when an intruder breaks in their research facility, kidnapping team member Brent and stealing to the past. With precious little to go on, the team must figure out the mysterious man’s plans, and prevent him from interfering with the past.
